Our Story
Art’s Barber Shop has been a part of DeWitt for over 35 years, and I’m proud to carry on its tradition. This place was built on grit, grace, and a deep love for community. When you walk through the door, you’ll see more than just barber chairs. You’ll see vintage car parts hanging on the walls, American flags that reflect my pride in this country, and the stories of friends and neighbors who’ve sat in these seats for decades.
To me, barbering is about more than hair. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome for kids, veterans, seniors, and those with special needs alike. My goal is that no matter who you are, you’ll always feel comfortable, respected, and at home here.
I take pride in the craft itself, too. Every head of hair is different, and every cut is personal. Whether it’s working around tricky cowlicks, shaping a beard, or giving a clean, classic fade, I put precision and care into every detail so you leave looking sharp and feeling confident.
This shop is more than a business to me. It’s a part of who I am. It’s a place where tradition meets precision, and where community always comes first.
